CNC Operator: Responsible for performing work related to CNC Lathe, Engine Lathe, Milling Machine, Saw, and Drill Press. This includes the completion of all relevant machining and documentation of jobs. Assist in the development of programming and maintenance procedures and manufacturing practices. Interface directly with internal customers or departments to deliver an estimate of completion and tooling requirements of individual projects. The candidate must be able to read and interpret 3D models, use micrometers, gages, and other various inspection equipment. Have prior experience as a CNC Operator, have the ability to review part prints and assure machining accuracy. Ability to troubleshoot CNC programs for issues and errors and have a strong math background. Must be a creative problem solver with excellent inter-personal and communication skills. Minimum of 3+ years experience as a CNC Operator. Must be able to work any shift.
Millwright: This position will be responsible to troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant equipment including: mechanical forging presses, programmable forging hammers, hydraulic coining presses, shot blast cleaning equipment, motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, and compressors. Mig and stick welding and fabrication experience is required. Must be able to read mechanical blue prints, hydraulic schematics, and all types of measuring tools. Basic knowledge of electricity is a plus. A minimum 5 years experience is required. Must be able to work any shift.
Tooling Repair: This position will be responsible for pre-staging all tools, making repairs to tools in and out of production, reviewing disposition of tools after production and performing change over of tools. Candidates should be mechanically inclined. Must be able to make repairs on tooling using hand tools and milling machine. Must have the ability to learn to troubleshoot on forge and trim repairs and to use various hand tools, mircometers, calipers, and tape measure. Must be able to read blue prints and be able to work any shift.
Electrician: This position will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment such as conveyors, presses, milling equipment, relay control components, and PLC control systems. This position requires experience working in an industrial manufacturing facility, an industrial electricity technical certificate, electrical schematic and ladder logic reading, conduit bending, use of electrical test equipment, and posses a strong work ethic. Electronic experience (solid state and SCR controls), relay, or robotic experience a plus.
Welder: This position will be responsible for maintenance and repair of forging dies, rams, sow blocks, and equipment. Experience using arc welding equipment, oxygen and acetylene tanks, burning torches, pedestal grinders, and miscellaneous hand tools is required. Must be able to perform wire, MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Experience with flood welding a plus.
Heat Treat: Responsible for all Heat Treat furnace operations, Wheelabrator operations, hardness testing, material handling, scale operations, AS400 and PC data entry, and any inventory functions related to all product being processed. Must be able to work any shift.
Quality Inspectors: Responsible for visual and dimensional checks on forgings for compliance with customer specifications; check product for defects using magnetic particle inspection equipment; general SPC inspection reports, quality audits, conduct gage R&R studies. Must have excellent math skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints, and ability to use various handbooks. Prior experience using micrometers, calipers, and gages preferred.
Final Inspectors: Responsible for cleaning parts, cold coin operations, Jiffy operations, final inspection, material handling, scale and dock operations, and shipping/inventory functions of all product being processed. Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints and ability to use various handtools.
Utility / Laborer: Activities include but are not limited to support tooling department in storing, retrieving, and pre-staging forge and trim tooling, load and unload trucks, use of grinders and miscellaneous handtools, and other tasks as assigned.
