Forge Helper: Operates after forge equipment, as qualified, while moving raw material and/or platters through the required dies in the required sequence. Includes participating in the setting and adjusting of forge tooling, also adjusting trim press parameters and may also include furnance loading and operation. The forge crew members produce a variety of steel forgings to customer specifications.
CNC Operator: Responsible for performing work related to CNC Lathe, Engine Lathe, Milling Machine, Saw, and Drill Press. This includes the completion of all relevant machining and documentation of jobs. Assist in the development of programming and maintenance procedures and manufacturing practices. Interface directly with internal customers or departments to deliver an estimate of completion and tooling requirements of individual projects. The candidate must be able to read and interpret 3D models, use micrometers, gages, and other various inspection equipment. Have prior experience as a CNC Operator, have the ability to review part prints and assure machining accuracy. Ability to troubleshoot CNC programs for issues and errors and have a strong math background. Must be a creative problem solver with excellent inter-personal and communication skills. Minimum of 3+ years experience as a CNC Operator.
Tooling Assistant: Duties include purchase and shop order entry, maintain tooling information in Tool Shop Scheduling System, updating monthly charts regarding dies sunk and dies welded, investigation of incomplete jobs and reconciling due dates, etc. Candidates for this position must have excellent organization and communication skills with all levels. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and be able to solve problems independently. Candidate must be detail orientated with the ability to set priorities and meet specific deadlines in a fast environment. Must have the ability to complete multiple tasks on a daily basis while working independently with minimal supervision. AS400 experience a plus.
Tooling Repair: Make repairs to forge, trim and punch dies so that they are ready for production. Must be able to problem solve, analyze & interpret data, read blueprints, and make precise measurements.
Millwright: This position will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment including: mechanical forging presses, programmable forging hammers, hydraulic coining presses, shot blast cleaning equipment, motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, and compressors. Mig and stick welding and fabrication experience is required. Must be able to read mechanical blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and all types of measuring tools. Basic knowledge of electricity is a plus. A minimum 5 years experience in the forging industry required.
Electrician: Daily activities include but not limited to induction furnance repair, furnance coil set-up, maintaining induction cooling systems and minor fabrication. Position will also be required to install, maintain and troubleshoot elctro mechanical production equipment with PLC control systems. Electronic experience (solid state and SCR controls) and relay a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years experience working in an industrial manufacturing facility.
Quality Inspector: Prior experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges perferred. Working knowledge of PC application (Word and Excel preferred). Must have excellent math skills, abilty to read and interpret blueprints and the ability to use various hand tools. This position will perform visual and dimensional checks on forgings for compliance with customer specifications, check product for defects using magnetic particle inspection equipment, generate SPC inspection reports and interpret results, perform quality audits, and conduct gauge R&R studies. Additonal support responsibilities as needed.
